Growing Spaces and Futures: Seeds of Tomorrow and the 960 Park Avenue Parklet
Funded through the Unrestricted Fund
In the heart of downtown Meadville, new life is taking shape. The Meadville Community Revitalization Corporation is transforming 960 Park Avenue into a welcoming parklet — a small green space where neighbors can meet, rest, and reconnect.
The project received a grant from the Crawford Heritage Community Foundation’s Unrestricted Fund as part of its mission to strengthen shared community spaces. Once complete, the parklet will feature seating, planters, and art that celebrates local creativity and civic pride.
The project also symbolizes something bigger: growth. The same kind of growth that the Foundation’s Seeds of Tomorrow campaign is nurturing through new endowment support for the future.
“Every plant, every bench, every brick tells a story about what people can accomplish together,” said a project volunteer. “This parklet shows how the smallest spaces can spark the biggest connections.”
When generosity takes root, communities bloom.
Every gift tells a story. Every story becomes a legacy.
