Today, we had the pleasure of presenting $1,000 grants to the two winning projects from this year’s LEAD Lab at Meadville Area Middle School, led by Andrew Herbstritt.Following presentations from eight student teams, two projects were selected for funding:• Common Roots for improvements at 1011 Liberty Street• City of Meadville EMS for the purchase of lift-assist equipmentWhile these two projects were chosen to receive funding, every team presented thoughtful ideas and demonstrated a strong commitment to addressing needs within our community. The creativity, research, and passion displayed by all of the students made the selection process incredibly difficult.Congratulations to this year’s winning teams, and thank you to all of the students who participated in LEAD Lab.
