Funded by the Community Impact Fund
Children learn best when they are exploring, imagining, and discovering the world around them. At Raising Wonder, play is more than fun. It is the foundation of healthy development, confidence, and early learning. This year, a grant from the Community Impact Fund is helping create new play environments that spark curiosity and support families throughout our community.
With support from the Crawford Heritage Community Foundation, Raising Wonder is expanding its indoor and outdoor play areas with new equipment, sensory toys, and development-focused materials. These additions create opportunities for children from infancy through preschool to grow through movement, hands-on exploration, and social connection.
For families, these improvements mean more than new toys. They create a safe, welcoming space where children can learn, and caregivers can find support. Each piece of new equipment helps build developmental skills and encourages positive interaction between children and parents.
Raising Wonder’s mission is rooted in the belief that strong communities start with strong families. By investing in early childhood spaces, this grant strengthens the moments that matter most during a child’s earliest years.
The generosity behind this project is a gift that will shape young minds for years to come. It is a reminder that every act of giving helps build a brighter, more hopeful future for Crawford County’s children.
Every gift tells a story. Every story becomes a legacy.
