National Community Foundation Week

About Community Foundation Week

Each November, community foundations across the United States celebrate National Community Foundation Week, a time to highlight the important role these foundations play in strengthening local communities through philanthropy, partnership,

and trust.

Created in 1989 by President George H. W. Bush, Community Foundation Week recognizes the work of more than 900 community foundations nationwide that help people give back in meaningful, lasting ways.

At the Crawford Heritage Community Foundation, we join this celebration by sharing the stories of generosity that shape Crawford County. These are stories of giving, connection, and love for community that continue to grow year after year.

Stories of Giving. Legacies of Love.

Across Crawford County, local generosity is changing lives.
Each story below represents a moment of care, connection, and hope, made possible by donors who believe in building a better future.
